That's amazing work! I'm just wondering what blending mode or technique you use between 4-5 to get the colors onto your black & white rendering?

This is incredible! I never painted in greyscale to turn it to colors later, but I will try your technique ;) Just one question: what do you do the lines layer in the step 3? you just disable it or you combine it to the greyscale layer and paint over it? The details that you add in that step are the differences in your picture.

This is great, and thank you for sharing. But it'd be a lot more useful if you could provide a little description. I think the most important thing everybody'd like to know is how you colour the grayscale picture, with what tools. It doesn't have to be an extensive tutorial, I know it takes a lot of time; maybe only a brief explanation of what you do so we can try and do the same to improve our coloring skills.
